Is The Water You Drink Or The Air You Breathe Making You Sick?

Each year, people are exposed to thousands of toxic chemicals and pollutants in the air, water, food and soil. Increasingly, toxicity is being identified as the predisposing factor in a long list of acute and chronic degenerative illnesses.

Every day people are reading in the newspapers or watching on television the devastation that water and air pollution is having on our society. The bottled water industry has become a very profitable yet questionable industry. People are being prescribed inhalers at a staggering rate due to poor air quality. More and more people are becoming allergic to their own environments. Sickness and disease is growing rapidly every year and at the same time has become a very profitable industry. Although there are many companies advertising vibrant health, very few actually have the integrity and wisdom to supply a quality product.

Unfortunately, the water and air pollution will only get worse. It is quite alarming when scientists are finding that the water and air in some of the cleanest parts of the world are now contaminated with pollution. People ask..."How does this happen?" The answer is that the wind patterns and precipitation effect the entire globe. Our food supply as well as our water supply is extremely contaminated with pollution. Pollution in North America will affect other parts of the world in due time and vice-versa.

The Pharmaceutical Industry is earning 100's of billions of dollars. People are giving more money to different diseases than ever before. The frightening thing and the question people should be asking is, " with the pharmaceutical companies earning such huge profits, and the various disease & research organizations receiving so much money, why is it that we as a nation continue to get sicker?" We surely are living longer, but we are definitely not living healthier.

As much as we want to hold the companies responsible for the pollution that they cause or our very own government for its lack of action to protect our environment, we as individuals must be responsible for our own health. Purifying and controlling your own water source as well as filtering the household air that you and your family breathe only makes sense. Making better food choices, such as organic foods and quality health products will greatly improve your health. Most importantly, (which is most often overlooked) having a positive mind set and being active will also greatly improve your over all well-being.

I strongly urge you to educate and protect yourself and your family from the serious health challenges our society faces on a daily basis. Empowering yourself and taking responsibility for your own existence is the first step. We have all lost loved ones due to sickness and disease....and both are preventable.

A final thought, if you don't take time for your health today, you'll have no health for your time tomorrow!

I wish you health, happiness and success,
